Rail travel just got a whole lot easier. Travelers using Spotnana can now use our expanded self-service capabilities to manage rail changes and book trips for multiple passengers with no agent assistance required. Whether traveling solo or coordinating a team trip, travelers now have more control and flexibility than ever before.

With Spotnana’s global rail content spanning the U.S., UK, and Europe, travelers can easily book and manage domestic and international  journeys, all from a single platform.

Easily manage rail changes, no agent needed

When plans shift or schedules change, travelers can now modify rail bookings directly in Spotnana’s Online Booking Tool for trips across Europe and the UK. With self-service exchanges, travelers gain more control over their journey including the ability to adjust travel dates, switch cities, and compare fare differences in just a few clicks.

Rail cancellations remain fully self-service as well, with no agent assistance required.

Multi-passenger rail travel, simplified

Coordinating rail travel for multiple passengers is now easier than ever. Spotnana now supports multi-passenger rail bookings on a single PNR, streamlining travel across the UK and Europe for teams traveling together. With over 25% of Trainline bookings made for multi-passenger itineraries, this new functionality meets rising demand and helps travel managers plan more efficiently.

Spotnana’s intuitive interface and fully self-service experience makes booking rail travel for multiple travelers simpler than ever before.

A modern rail booking experience backed by global content

Spotnana offers access to a broad network of rail carriers across the U.S., UK, and Europe, powered by our proprietary content API, which aggregates inventory from multiple sources. We prioritize direct connections to travel providers to ensure travelers receive the most accurate and complete content available.

We’re currently live with Amtrak (USA and Canada) and Trainline (UK and Europe), including European carriers such as:

  • Eurostar (EU mainland)
  • Iryo (Spain)
  • Italo (Italy)
  • NS (Netherlands)
  • RDG (UK)
  • Renfe (Spain)
  • SNCB (Belgium)
  • Swiss Federal Railways (Switzerland)
  • Trenitalia (Italy, France)

It doesn’t matter where a traveler is located when they make a booking, they’ll have access to rail content across borders, giving them the flexibility to plan rail journeys just as easily as flights.

Spotnana’s rail booking experience includes:

  • Dynamic fare displays to easily compare classes and find the lowest price.
  • Amenity and seat reservation visibility.
  • Support for multiple loyalty and discount cards per reservation.
  • Automatic validation to apply eligible discounts based on route and carrier.

Compare flights vs. rail and save with split tickets

Spotnana also helps travelers make smarter, more sustainable choices. When a domestic flight search involves a route under five hours by train, our platform automatically presents rail alternatives, letting users compare cost, convenience, and carbon impact in a single view.

Spotnana supports split ticketing for UK rail, as well, a feature pioneered by Trainline that divides trips into lower-cost segments without changing the journey. Travelers get the same trip, for less.

We are redefining the rail experience through global content, modern tools, and traveler-first innovation. From solo trips to team travel, rail is now a flexible, fully self-service option.
