Spotlight on Kelly Stack: Driving enterprise customer success

Supporting a global travel program is a group effort. Here at Spotnana, Kelly Stack ensures smooth execution across multiple stakeholders.

At Spotnana, Kelly is a Senior Account Manager serving one of our largest global customers. She works closely with the Global Program Director and our cross functional teams to align on customer priorities, goals, and overall account strategy. Additionally, Kelly monitors key performance metrics and partners with our data analytics team to identify actionable insights. She also oversees the day-to-day health of the account, from issue management to platform configuration, and fields questions about product features.

Kelly shared why she chose to work at Spotnana, what it’s like to work with her colleagues, and what she loves about being a Spotter.

Can you share your career journey prior to Spotnana?

“I began my career at a travel management company (TMC), where I worked as a corporate travel agent for three years. There, I learned how to manage the day-to-day operations of servicing my accounts. I thoroughly enjoyed working alongside my Customer Success Managers and learning how to take a more strategic approach managing my portfolio. 

“That experience was my introduction to the world of Customer Success and Account Management. I spent nine years overseeing enterprise customers across a variety of industries before joining Spotnana.”

Why did you choose to come work at Spotnana?

“After a decade in the travel industry, I was excited to learn about how Spotnana was transforming and modernizing travel. The more I learned about Spotnana’s vision and goals, the more I wanted to be part of a company that was reimagining an industry I deeply loved.”

What are the dynamics and goals of your team?

“My team is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our relationship with the customer. While each member has a dedicated role to play in the partnership, we work closely together to align and ensure we are holistically supporting the program. Together, we build a clear strategy and a shared understanding of what partnership success looks like.

“We work alongside the customer to define shared goals and strengthen the partnership through monthly product roadmap calls, bi-weekly syncs, and monthly executive meetings.”

Can you share how in-person gatherings have shaped your Spotnana experience?

“My first in-person Spotnana event was in Bangkok at Converge, our global offsite. I cannot speak highly enough of how incredibly welcoming everyone was. The days were filled with educational sessions, engineering demos, open panels, and a special welcome dinner cooked by our founder. 

“One of the highlights was our scavenger hunt around the city! I will never forget the tears of laughter as we raced throughout Bangkok on tuk tuks with colleagues from all over the world.”

Why is travel important to you?

“I think one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves is a new experience. This can be trying new food, learning a new custom, or learning a traditional dance. Traveling is such a beautiful way to experience life. I believe in connecting as many people to the world around them as possible. Let them explore!”

What is your favorite thing about working at Spotnana?

“Everyday, I learn something new and am constantly inspired by the people around me. I have the privilege of working alongside some of the most passionate, innovative, and talented minds. People care not just about what we are building but how we build it.

“There is a profound sense of purpose, curiosity and ambition. It is easy to get excited about the future.”

Fun Facts!

• What’s the best trip you ever took? Petra, Jordan, had been on my bucket list for a long time. Seeing the Treasury building for the first time gave me chills. It is an experience I will never forget.
• What’s your favorite thing to do at the airport? Honestly, work. Maybe it is the excitable atmosphere of people traveling or the frantic nature of trying to get everything done before vacation, but I am productive and enjoy the energy around me!
• What’s your favorite airplane snack? Welch’s Fruit Snacks.
• Aisle, middle, or window seat? Aisle.
• What’s your go-to show to watch on a trip? Any movie from the Bridget Jones series.
