Spotnana builds direct integration to Travelodge

I’m excited to share that Spotnana has completed a direct integration with Travelodge, one of the UK’s largest budget hotel chains. This partnership brings over 600 properties across the UK and Ireland to our TMC partners with enhanced rates, richer content, and streamlined servicing capabilities.

Throughout my career in corporate travel, I’ve seen how distribution limitations create friction for both travelers and travel managers. Budget hotels like Travelodge have historically been difficult to access through corporate booking tools, forcing travelers to book outside their approved channels and leaving travel managers without visibility or control.

Streamlined booking and servicing
One of the most significant improvements this direct integration delivers is in the booking and payment experience. Traditional hotel bookings often require payment on arrival, creating friction in the booking process.
Through our direct connection, Travelodge bookings are pre-paid (while still offering refundable options for flex rates), with invoices automatically sent to travelers’ email addresses from their profile. This eliminates the payment friction that has long plagued corporate hotel bookings. Travelers can also purchase add-ons like early check-in and late check-out, Wi-Fi, and breakfast directly during the booking process. Travelodge has recently included complimentary Premium WiFi across its SuperRooms.
The hotel chain is also trialing app-based check-in capabilities at select properties, with broader rollout planned in the coming months.
Seamless activation for TMC partners
Our TMC partners can activate Travelodge content using the flexible content controls available within Spotnana Cloud for TMCs. This means TMCs can configure exactly which properties, rates, and booking options are available to their corporate clients based on specific travel policies and preferences.
The integration supports the full traveler journey from shopping through servicing. Travelers benefit from a consumer-grade booking experience with detailed property information and competitive rates. Travel agents can address servicing requests seamlessly through Spotnana’s agent desktop, maintaining visibility and control across all bookings.
